Blott is a fantasy adventure that follows the life of Blott, a teenage boy who has lived in an isolated village his entire life. When his people are starving due to exhausted farmland and a drought, he leaves the village for the first time and discovers that the world is not as it seems. Everything outside the village is a blank canvas and only he has the power to change that.
Essentially discovering that he has all the creative power of a god, Blott can “paint” the landscape around him and save his people from extinction. But his dark side has other ideas. As he struggles with the unwanted responsibility of shaping his world, Blott creates a danger that could take the lives of all those he strives to save. Will he paint a bright new world, or will his savage desire for power devastate the one that already exists?
Daniel Parsons is the author of the fantasy books The Winter Freak Show and Blott. He has also written a comedy zombie story called Necroville which has received critical acclaim on Wattpad, garnered over 24,000 reads, and been used to promote Hollywood’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies movie.
